What your report measures
Your AI visibility score, explained
The overview is the answer to one question: does AI name you? Everything on it — the score, the four figures underneath it, and the list of who gets named instead of you — is built from the same fifteen questions, counted the same way, so it can be compared scan to scan.
Four figures, counted by question — not by answer
You are named in some number of your customers' questions, out of the total asked. You come out first a certain number of those times. When you do appear in a list, there's an average position. And since the last scan, some questions were gained and some were lost. All four are counted by QUESTION, the same unit as your score, so they line up with it instead of using a different yardstick each time.
The score is four weighted measurements, not one guess
Findability (45 points) is whether you're named at all. Presence (10 points) is whether the engine actually quoted your own website when it named you, rather than a directory that mentions you. Readiness (30 points) is whether your site can be reached and read by a machine. Answerability (15 points) is whether a machine can positively identify your business and find someone who has vouched for it, mainly through your Google Maps listing.
We check stability, not just one run
AI answers are not perfectly consistent — ask the same question twice and you can get two different lists. So the most important question is asked several times, not once, and your report says plainly whether you came out the same every time, came out mixed, or were never named at all. Appearing sometimes is not the same as appearing, and a single measurement would have kept that quiet.
Who gets named instead of you
The overview also shows which other businesses get named across the same questions, and in which kind of question you tend to lose — a "near me" question, a comparison, a specific service. It is not a five-slot leaderboard: dozens of businesses can appear across a market's worth of questions, so the point is finding where you're not showing up, not just who's ahead of you.
