AI visibility for local business

Discover how AI describes your business before your next customer does.

When someone asks ChatGPT for a business like yours, an answer comes back. It names somebody. Find out whether it names you.

Nobody scrolls to a second answer. Being named is the whole game, and above are the questions where even a household name is not.

Why this matters now

The search that decides is no longer the one you optimised for

45%
of consumers used AI to find a local business this year — up from 6% the year before
BrightLocal, Local Consumer Review Survey 2026
1.2%
of local business locations were ever recommended by ChatGPT
SOCi Local Visibility Index 2026 — ~350,000 locations across 2,751 brands
126M
real AI-search prompts analysed across ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Mode and AI Overviews
Semrush & Adobe, AI Visibility Index 2026 — US prompts, January–April 2026, 22 verticals

30×

Being named by AI is roughly thirty times harder than ranking in Google's local pack: 1.2% against 35.9%, measured across the same locations.

The deliverable

Measure where you actually stand

One number is a headline. The report underneath it is the work.

  • Your position in every answer, question by question
  • The questions you are missing from entirely
  • A score you can recalculate yourself from the raw answers

Where should I book a hotel for a family holiday in Orlando?

  2. 2Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort
  3. 3Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando

See who AI names instead of you

Your competitors in AI are frequently not the ones you have been watching.

  • Every business named ahead of you, in the order the engine said them
  • How often each one appears across your whole question set
  • The ones that keep coming back — those are the real problem
  • Marriott1/5
  • Hilton1/5
  • Hyatt1/5
  • Westgate Resorts1/5

Know which sources decided it

This is the part that makes a fix possible instead of guesswork.

  • Every page the engine cited to build its answer
  • Which of those sources mention you, and which have never heard of you
  • The specific gap to close, in priority order
  • tripadvisor.commentions you
  • reddit.comnever heard of you
  • nomadicmatt.comnever heard of you
  • booking.commentions you

Measured, not estimated

We ask Gemini and Google AI Overviews, live, with Google Search grounding

Every answer carries the sources behind it — no cached model knowledge, no guessing what AI said last year. Two engines today, named plainly rather than implied — and they disagree, which is the point: on one business we measured, Gemini named them in 46% of answers and Google's AI Overview in 7%. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Copilot are next, and your report shows a column for each so you can see exactly what is covered.

Our own numbers, from the reports published on this site. We would rather show you a small true number than a large invented one.

Being named and being quoted are not the same thing. AI can describe your business without quoting your site, and quote your site without naming you. On Gemini, as few as 30% of the brands mentioned are also cited as sources — so we measure both.

How Lisa works

Four steps, and a report at the end of them you can check line by line. Then, for the people who want it, the method underneath.

  1. 1

    Lisa reads your site

The same way an AI crawler does — the HTML before the JavaScript, your robots.txt, your structured data, the pages you actually sell from. That crawl is thirty of your hundred points, and every finding comes back as a sentence you can verify in your own browser.

  2. 2

Lisa asks what your customers ask

Real buying questions for your trade and your area — not a keyword list. The ones at the top get asked three times, because AI answers move between runs and one sample is not a measurement.

  3. 3

Lisa shows you the answers, word for word

Your position in every answer, who was named instead of you, which KIND of question you lose, and every page the engines read to decide. Nothing summarised away, nothing you have to take on faith.

  4. 4

    Lisa's team does the work

A prioritised list where every hour is booked against a source in your own report. Do it yourself from the same list, or hand it to us and watch the number move on the next scan.

The method

AI SEO, AEO and GEO
Three names for the same thing. AEO is answer engine optimisation, GEO is generative engine optimisation, and AI SEO is what everyone actually calls it. It is not ranking in a list of links — it is being named inside the answer.
40–60 questions
Generated per trade, city and language — not a generic keyword list. Head questions run three times, because AI answers vary between runs and one sample is not a measurement.
Composite score out of 100
Findability 45 · Readiness 30 · Answerability 15 · Presence 10. Those weights are fixed and published, so two scans are comparable.
Weekly, not daily
AI answers drift. One snapshot tells you almost nothing; an eight-week slope tells you whether the work is working.
Every raw answer stored
We keep the full response behind every score. When you ask why a number moved, there is a real sentence to point at.

Lisa does the work, not just the report

Most tools hand you a dashboard and wish you luck. Lisa is the same voice that answers the phone for local businesses at LisaHola — and behind her is a team that actually does the fixing: the citations, the Google profile, the reviews, the pages that get quoted.

She works in English and Spanish because your customers do. And she tells you plainly when something is not worth doing.

About LisaSEOAI

Built for the people who already pay to be found

If you have ever bought an ad, a listing or an SEO retainer, you already believe visibility is worth money. Only the surface has changed.

  • Hotels, restaurants and travel

Travel is the single most common thing people plan with AI. The booking follows the answer, not the map.

  • Online stores and large catalogues

Every SKU is a product that can be recommended, or silently skipped, in a comparison you never see.

  • Trades and home services

Urgent, local, and decided in one question. There is no second answer to scroll to.

  • Clinics, practices and professionals

High-trust, high-value, heavily researched. Being named is the entire referral.

What it is worth

How many jobs does it take to pay for itself?

Not a forecast — a breakeven. Pick your trade and tell us what one customer is worth. If the number does not work, we would rather you found out here.

Your trade

3

One job is worth about $450. Use your own figure if ours is wrong.

+94%return, every month
LisaSEOAI Fix 10$695
3 extra jobs$1,350

You break even at 1.5 extra jobs a month. Everything after that is yours.

Job values are typical US figures for each trade and are stated so you can argue with them. We do not promise extra jobs — we measure whether AI names you, and we do the work that gets you named.

Pricing

We are not the cheapest. Here is exactly why.

Every price below buys hours of specialist work, and every hour is booked against a source in your own report.

What the hours buy

There is no setting to switch on. Somebody has to go and do it.

Every hour above is booked against a source that appears in your own report — a page an assistant actually read while answering a question you lost. Here is what the work is, and why it cannot be automated away.

  1. 01

We read where each engine actually looks

The engines do not share a diet. In the Semrush index, ChatGPT cites 15.4 sources per answer and leans on reference and community pages; Google's AI Mode cites 11.4 and leans social and local; AI Overviews cite 9.2 with video dominant; Gemini cites 3.3, favouring commerce. A brand built only for one of them is invisible in the others.*

  2. 02

We get you onto those sources, by hand

That means a real profile written on the directory that gets quoted for your trade, a real answer posted where your customers are already asking, a real page about the service you actually sell. It is a person writing and submitting, every time. There is no API for being worth citing.

  3. 03

We make your site say the same thing everywhere

The index's central finding is that the brands winning are the ones whose signals say the same thing on every surface — deeper coverage on the sources that matter, not more pages. Name, address, hours, services and claims have to match across your site and every profile. Reconciling that is unglamorous and it is most of the job.*

  4. 04

We re-measure, and show you the movement

Mentions and citations are separate things: AI can describe your business without quoting your site, and quote your site without naming you. We track both, and every month you get the same scan again so the line either moved or it did not.*

Everyone else sells you a dashboard. We hire people to do the work.

Tools in this category run from about $95 to $500 a month, and every one of them stops at the same place: a screen telling you that AI does not mention your business. Then you are on your own — with a subscription, and a problem you now cannot unsee.

A dashboard is not a fix

Knowing you are invisible changes nothing. Somebody still has to get you listed, write the page, and fill in the profile. We employ those people; a tracker does not.

You can see where the hours went

Every hour we bill is booked against a source that appears in your own report, with the date and what changed. We will not bill an hour against something we cannot point at.

We measure first, then work

The list is built from the pages AI actually read while answering questions about your trade. That is why we can say what to do rather than guess — and why we never sell you keyword advice.

So yes, we cost more than a tracker. We cost less than the agency you would have to hire to act on what a tracker tells you — and we are the only ones who can show you, line by line, what the money bought.

What we will always do

Four promises. Each one is checkable, which is the point.

  • You see the actual answers

Word for word, engine labelled. Not a score you have to take on faith — the sentences AI wrote about your trade, in full.

  • Our formula is published

The whole scoring method is public: what we weight, why, and how we count. Check our arithmetic. Most tools will not show you theirs.

  • English and Spanish, scored apart

Two languages, two question sets, two scores. Being visible in English and invisible in Spanish is not a rounding error in Miami — it is half your market.

  • Every fix traces to a real gap

We only recommend something when we can point at the source that cites a competitor and not you. No keyword stuffing, no busywork billed by the hour.
